For a new series.
How about Rokudenashi Blues.
IO worked on a few chapters years ago with Toriyama World.
The series has been picked up a by a few groups for a few chapters but never really went anywhere only at volume 7 of 42.
It's also got a boxing theme/part to it.
Many probably haven't heard of it ran in Weekly Shonen Jump 1988-1997.
Don't know what total sales are but it was really popular in Japan for best sales ever of Weekly Jump seires it was only behind Dragon Ball and Slam Dunk.These days One Piece would be up there though.
