hello evreyone i am a big fan of the series and i watched the anime a lot of times
and i am glad to be here
i have a question though, does the series discus any other theme other than boxing ?
and by the way a theme is something that the author or writer foucses on in his work

The main theme of the series is the pursuit of the knowledge of what it means to be strong (in reference to strength of character, not physical strength). Boxing is a just means to an end for Ippo and Sendo.
A secondary but extremely related theme is the responsibility of a winner to be as best as possible for the sake of those defeated.
